Contemplating about the appropriation of space led to the creation of a scanning device that would numerically record its vicinity using a light-section technique. For this, a line-laser was mounted on a rotating stepper motor while a camera was surveying alongside. I experimented in Python on triangulating the points gathered this way for forming faces and surfaces.
