I have been experimenting with sewing sound-generating circuits on textiles as part of the klangmaschinen workshop with Nico Kirisits and Klaus Filip. Here is some text.

"The trigger signal gets send into the 4n25 phototransistor optocoupler, this makes a connection between two points on the circuit-board that makes the internal sequencer advance one step."

"The trigger signal gets send into the mini jack input. Then it goes through the 270K resistor. Then it goes into the transistor and makes the Collector and the Emitter connect. So connect the collector and the emitter of the 2n2222 to the points on the circuit that make the internal sequencer advance one step. Finally connect the earth of the jack to the earth of the battery inside the VL-Tone."
